"IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHERE YOU'RE GOING, ANY ROAD WILL GET YOU THERE"

'ALL 500 | At Last Lost' is a self-supported and adventure-cycling challenge with a new game changer: you will only know the location of the next Check Point when you reach the previous one. A 'magical mystery tour' in which - in loco - route planning and navigation skills play a determinant role. The 'playground arena' of ALL 2024 is Algarve & Alentejo regions in Portugal and Western Andalusia in Spain. A ride through beautiful landscapes in southwest Iberian. The perfect cocktail to get lost!

Your route will take you on a journey between 650-750 kilometers - a maximum estimated of 500 miles. ALL starts and finishes in Germano biciArte Café (Alte, Algarve). Departure on November 1 2024.

REGISTRATION OPENS ON MARCH 1 2024

HoW does 'ALL' work?

  • You only know the departure and finish point: Alte, Algarve (40 kilometers away from Faro Airport).
  • At the briefing session we will share the parcour/set route between the departure point and Check Point 1.
  • After the CP1 is totally free route: in CP1 you will know the coordinates of CP2, in CP2 of CP3 and so on...
  • The CPs are located in remote and unfamiliar areas. So being a local rider won't necessarily be an advantage.
  • The basic principle: if you decided to get lost, you will get lost. So make no sense to inform other participants (including, using social media) about the CP locations, neither ask for information from the "outside".
  • The slowest riders will have an idea - via live tracking - about the location of the CP. You can see it as an opportunity to balance the 'game'. If you don't want to have an idea of the locations, don't check the live map.
  • A road bike will allow you to go faster, but a gravel bike will allow you to use "shortcuts". Your bike, your route.
